Solving a Solution for a Re-Solution

Solving a Solution for a Re-Solution

How can we start this new year differently? How can we be sure of our salvation? Every year we re-create a resolution to change something. We choose things that are beneficial to our health, financial status, or all around FOR US. Everyone of these effect what really matters the most. We are lost in what this world wants for us and honestly it's pretty easy to know what pleases us. When we get carried away with pleasing ourselves we find ourselves lost in temptation. And temptation is far from where we want to be.

Mark 7:20-23 says “And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” Amen

All these defile us. Makes us sinners. As much as we try to believe that there is good in us we forget that bad was first. Slander is the biggest one that I see involved with everyone, honestly we all have trouble with this. We allow ourselves to be involved with things that hurt people. 1 Corinthians 16:14 says "Let all that you do be done in love". Do we? Or is it the pleasure we find in temptation for sin.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says that “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” Amen. Scripture gives us a picture of God testing the faith of us as seen in Genesis 22:1. The enemy did it to Jesus in Matthew 4:1-11. As some good come out of temptation its up to us to figure those good things out. We build our faith and learn that there is a possible way that the enemy can use what God uses to strengthen us to effect who we are in Christ.

We fear a lot of fictional and factual things. One that we do not fear is temptation. It’s normal to us to be who we think we are. There’s a difference between temptation fixes where we believe on a earthly level to cure whatever needs that please us, but the ultimate ability we have is to seek the kingdom of God Amen to enhance the eternal life that is gifted to us through Jesus Christ Amen. To believe faithfully with obedience and integrity. To be consistent!

James 4:7 says “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Amen

The word “flee” in Greek is (pheugó) pronounced (fyoo’-go) also meaning to run away, to escape, to let go. See the enemy is afraid. John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; Amen. He knows when you put your mind on the truth of the gospel that he will NOT be able to temp you. Your a new creation! (2 Corinthians 5:17) “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” Amen

Jesus Christ died to save you from you. To give you abundantly more. He loves you and wants you! So this year instead of making a new year resolution that benefits you. Make it all about Him. Amen

Together we can re-connect with what was once a solution for our resolution.
